The Reverend Doctor Richard Graf began as Kimball's Interim Senior Pastor in August of 2012, and will serve the congregation until the next pastor is chosen. Dr. Graf has served congregations in NC, SC, and Florida, was Assistant to the Bishop of the Florida Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, had a popular daily radio ministry for many years in Columbia, SC, taught preaching at the Lutheran Southern Theological Seminary, and is listed in "Who's Who in Religion in America." He has worked with over 100 congregations in North Carolina conducting workshops and events in evangelism and stewardship. He sees Kimball as a vibrant Holy-Spirit-filled Body of Christ with a mission-based ministry of gospel-fired grace. That, he says, is not only what brought him out of retirement to serve Kimball during the interim between pastors, but has excited him about the church and it's future.
